How long before DNS servers update?

I own ree-yees.com (not much there) which untill now has been hosted by
virtualave.net with primary servers ns1.freevirtual.net or something like
that.

The other day i changed my primary and secondary servers to
ns1.granitecanyon.com and ns2.granitecanyon.com and set up an account with
granitecanyon.com. So now granitecanyon should point to my static ip addres
and i can host my own domain name!

The change has gone thorugh with networksolutions and if you do a whois with
them it lists granitecanyon as primary and secondary. But if i go to
ree-yees.com it is still using the old dns servers and still goes to the
virtualave web site.
:(

The man at networksolutions said this is because isps have to update their
dns information. So my question is, how long will it take for @home to
update their dns information or anywhere for that matter.

If you ping ree-yees.com it should not get a 208.* number.

Will @home's dns servers update overnight tonight?

Thanks,
Cameron
