How to managing Static and Dynamic RRs?

I have used h2n for years to keep forward and reverse zones
synchronized.
h2n has been a great tool.  I have recently been upgrading to bind
version 8
in conjunction with efforts to deploy DDNS.  Does anyone have a solution

for managing static DNS with h2n (or equivalent) AND integrating
the dynamic entries?
