Hi all,

We have an network the server is Linux 6.2 and the clients are Win98.
I've
installed DHCP giving the clients the IP. In the global option is an
entry
for the DNS. The server is also used as a fileserver. Here in the
options is
also an entry for DNS.
The client is configured at the nework option TCP/IP with the
host "abc" and
the domain "foo.de". In the searchlist is an entry with the IP from the
server, and at the searchlist for the domain suffix is "foo.de".

At the server, there's no problem to get a web site. Nslookup works, no
wrong entry at the logfile "messages".

When I try at the client to get the website "www.abcd.com"
the query will be sent to the server. After three second you'll see at
the
browser, that the adress will be automaticlly changed. The URL get at
the
front a second "www", at the end it starts with "org" and tried all the
toplevel domains.

What's wrong? Can anyone help me????
