Error message trying to dump stats in 4.9.7

Hi there.

I'm trying to dump my stats for my bind 4.9.7 on Solaris 2.5.1.

I issue the kill -s SIGIOT 1200 command, which always worked. Now I get
a syslog error:

Oct 20 08:50:33 [hostname deleted] named[1200]: stat file was changed
during open

So the stats file is not being written. No named.stats file exists in
the /var/tmp directory, so I just don't get where this error is coming
from.

Can anyone help?
