Oops. Version 8.1.2 extracted from my binary because I lost the
sources in a disk failure. What appears to go silent is the master. I
say appears because I'm behind a firewall and my DNS server on this
firewall is what goes silent. This problem is
intermittant and has ocurred both with a direct connection to the
internet and from with the @home.com space.

Now that I know that it shouldn't happen, any config hints, tips,
or RTFMs welcome.
