make error on RH Linux

I am attempting to upgrade to Bind 8.2.2-P5 on both a RH 5.2 and 6.0
server.  When running "make depend" I get the same error regarding
"probe_ipv6" on both servers:

make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/paul/bind/src/port/linux/include/net'
probe_ipv6
make[1]: probe_ipv6: Command not found
make[1]: *** [port_ipv6.h] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/paul/bind/src/port/linux/include'
make: *** [depend] Error 2

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated !!
