NS records on the root servers have 48-hour TTLs.  Also, when you say "it
posted yesterday morning", are you referring to the WHOIS entry or the root
server entry?  The root servers are updated the night after the WHOIS
database is updated.

You should start worrying after 4 days.  The best solution in the mean time
is to get the operators of the old servers to configure them as slaves of
the new server, so that queries will return current data no matter which
servers they ask.
