why doesn't generate support a records?

i have worked up a patch to support a and aaaa records and submitted it to
mark.  i also made some tweaks to allow the $ substition to be controlled
(decimal, octal, hex, HEX, number of digits) as well as being able to
specify a delta to the iterator so that dhcp-000 to dhcp-127 could be
192.168.1.128 to 192.168.1.255.  the syntax i came up with for that
scenario would be:

$GENERATE 0-127 dhcp-$%3d A 192.168.1.$(128)

i'm not too thrilled with it, but it was easy to code.  we'll see what
mark has to say about the whole issue :-).
