Subject: wild card question

bind 8.1.2

greetings,

Can I remedy issue described below
via usage of wild card? If not, is
there other way to accomplish this?

Subdomain "xyz.unm.edu" has its dns server.

At "unm.edu" level , how can I make
all queries of type *.abc.unm.edu
to go to dns servers at xyz.unm.edu ?

I guess I can do :

*.abc.unm.edu IN A <IP of dns-server.xyz.unm.edu>

Is that legal?
Is that correct way of doing it?

Thanks,
Farid
