Resolver configuration

Is it a problem if all resolvers of our win95 clients have the hostname
configured the same way (knowing that these machines are not entered in
any DNS server, they're just using DNS)?

In some cases we can't use DHCP so we'd like to configure Windows'
resolver by modifying the windows registry.
