dynamic dns and nsupdate

I have a linux box running red hat 6.0.I set up ISC's dhcp with dynamic
dns compiled and it is running great. I start named but when I get a
request for a ip I see this msg is the log:

dhcpd: nsupdate failed: unknown hostname for update

I've looked at all the set up files any they appear good to me. Does
anyone have an idea what is the problem is.
