multi cnames on bind 8.2.1

there are NS and SOA records in teh zone also..... its no different then
going to netscape.com.  a lot of domains use this format .... but normally i
think they are A records.. the thing is.. it worked in 8.1.2.

This seems like it would violate the "CNAME and other data" prohibition,
if this is the name of the zone.  A zone must have SOA and NS records, so
it can't also have CNAME records.

That's multiple A records, not multiple CNAME records.  You don't need to
do anything special to have multiple CNAME records.
