bind 8.1.1 and bind 4.9.3 on solaris

In solaris 7 there is a chain of commands that will change the format of a 
named.boot file for bind 4.9.3 to a named.conf format for a secondary name 
server for bind 8.1.1.  I know the secondary (named.conf) file format has 
changed.  But what about the format for the primary name server has it 
changed too?  I don't know what the new format for bind 8.1.1 looks like.  
Can someone clarify this.
