Problem with bind 8.2.2P5

I installed bind 8.2.2P5 on my internal nameserver systems.

I started having a problem.  Syslog reports:


Dec 12 20:58:14 ns.dom.ain named[22914]: db_load could not open: secondary-file-name: Resource temporarily unavailable

Once this starts, I get one a minute or so, all with different domains
I am a secondary for and that zone then fails on DNS lookups.

If I do a 'ndc reload' it clears up for some number of hours and begins
again, usually in the late evening.  The system does not appear
to be overloaded.  

I'm running Solaris 2.5.1 and compiled with gcc 2.7.2.3

The open(2) man page indicates that the file may be locked, but I can't
see where it is locked.

Any help in fixing this will be most appreciated.
