FW: subdomains without parents

Hi all,

I have a question for which I can not find an answer in the RFC's (1034 and
1035).

Is it allowed by the RFC's or other 'standards' to do the following?

Install a name server, which is authoritative for several delegated domains and
has a cache file pointing towards the (internal) root server, that will become
authoritative for a domain which is not delegated or known by the (internal)
root server or by one of the name servers in between.

Please help me.
