missing info from "named.stats"

The file "named.stats" is created after executing the
command
   "kill -ILL <named-pid>"


However, the output file "named.stats" we obtained is
missing the detail lines after the GLOBAL section.

Is there anything extra I have to do to get these lines?

PS:
   We are running BIND 8.2.1

   Each detail line starts with an IP address, and a table
of count followed.  Please see page 166 in "DNS & BIND 3rd
edition"
