If this is not the root zone file, you can't say "*.", you would just
say "*"

However, I don't understand your goal. You can't say you want MX records
for a domain to go to a different server than the other records for the
same domain. (from a DNS perspective, I mean. If all mail goes to a
mailserver to send out, you can give this server a different DNS server
for  MX records)
