History of ISC DHCP

The ISC DHCP server was originally written by Ted Lemon, who maintained it through Release 3.0, which had its alpha release in March 1999 and its final release in January 2003.

Since 2004, primary maintenance and development of ISC DHCP, especially the IPv6 support and failover support, has been the work of David Hankins at ISC.
