ISC and NaMeX offer DNS training in Europe
Redwood City, CA - Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) and NaMeX today announced a partnership establishing NaMeX’s Rome location as the primary European site for ISC’s BIND and DHCP training courses. The first series of classes begins October 12th.
In 2004, ISC began offering customer support for the ubiquitous open source software BIND, and shortly thereafter added support for ISC DHCP. Customers were quick to let ISC know that training classes designed to assist with set-up and ongoing operation of the nameservers and DHCP servers would complement software support. In response to demand, in September of 2006, we offered our first training, Introduction to BIND and Advanced BIND. These classes were created with a combination of lecture, labs and hands-on instruction to allow students to learn and practice BIND administration in a realistic setting.

Class sizes are kept small to ensure adequate time can be spent on each student’s questions regarding their unique situations. ISC’s training offerings will continue to increase in the range of topics and frequency. Classes on specialized concerns such as DNSSEC Implementation and Deployment have been added to ISC’s offerings to address Internet trends and customer requests.
