Open Source Routing

The Internet Systems Consortium's Open Source Routing (OSR) project's mission is to support community development of a stable routing code base, with the goal of enabling network innovation.  With efforts based on Quagga, the most widely-deployed open source routing code base, the OSR project works in partnership with the existing developer community, including independent contributors and contributors working in institutions supporting the effort, including service providers and academic institutions.

OSR brings to this goal a wealth of software development experience derived from its roots in the Internet Systems Consortium (ISC), authors of BIND and DHCP and a strong force in open source networking software development over the last 20 years.
