Hello Klaus:

Yes, you should be able to omit that option.  That option is only needed
if you plan on altering the configuration parsing code.  We pre-generate
all the parsing code and include that in the repo as well as the source
tar balls.  It is odd that those files are missing. Would be so kind as
to open a bug ticket for this at:

http://kea.isc.org/newticket
