Damn. Colour me embarrassed.

I originally put 192.168.1.240 on the dslam, outside of the scope of any network
subnets I had declared in the config file.

Sorry for the noise.

-> Perhaps because previously your IP was coming out of the 192.168.1.0/29, and
-> you have the logging statement just in 192.168.1.192/28?
