The router upstream of the CPE should snoop those DHCPv6 responses and
create the necessary route. That feature has not been consistently
implemented across routers.

Subject: Adding route to ipv6 router who received delegated prefix

When a router requests a delegated IPv6 prefix, I would like to add a route
so that I can reach the machines on the remote delegated prefix.

It looks like there should be a way to execute a script whenever I delegate
a prefix, but I have not been able to locate information on how to do this.

What is the best way to add a route to make the delegated subnets reachable?

Thanks,

Joel Peshkin
