I don't think it should matter, as long as it's within the group { } block.

Subject: ingnore booting syntax question

greetings

i have a script that add miscreant devices to a ignore booting file. I have a problem with " sort -u " it keeps placing the " ignore booting; " at the end of the file.

does it matter the location , i mean what line the statement is on ?

here is what my output keeps giving me;

group {
host Abbis-Ipod283737a63fe1 { hardware ethernet 28:37:37:a6:3f:e1 ; }
host Adams-iPhone { hardware ethernet 60:c5:47:41:14:2d ; }
host Alyssas-iPod5855ca966f28 { hardware ethernet 58:55:ca:96:6f:28 ; }
host Amanda-s-Ipod-28c5877912382 { hardware ethernet 8c:58:77:91:23:82 ; }
host Amandas-Ipod0025bc71b41e { hardware ethernet 00:25:bc:71:b4:1e ; }
ignore booting;
}

does it matter having the statement at the end of the file ?
