DHCPRequest for 0.0.0.0

It may not be anything like what I had, but I used to get that on my network
on the odd occasion.

It turned out it was a client issue, mostly it was customers using windows
vista without any service packs..

Updating clients pc's with the latest service packs, or:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928233 Seemed to fix it.

Subject: DHCPRequest for 0.0.0.0

Hi,

Someone reported that one of their clients is unable to DHCP.
Looking at the leases file, there is an active lease and it should be
working.
When looking into logs I found the entries below.

It seems to get an ACK but at the same time another Request for 0.0.0.0 goes
out.
Why would a client issue another request after getting an ACK? Is there an
issue on the client side?
