Right, and you can register DUIDs without ever touching the machine,  
by making the machine's user do it in a web browser before they get  
access to the network.   Both solutions are easy; what distinguishes  
them is simply that they are different, and you may already have  
implemented one of them, and thus prefer it to the other.
