DHCPINFORM

There are known issues with Inform. It tracks global options OK but options defined more specifically and provided correctly in the offer can be overridden in the inform. But option-82 data comes from specific relay types. You might need to review the switch documentation.

Hello,

Hope some one can help me or kick me in the right direction on this matter.

I have been reading the RFC on DHCPINFORM but cant find out if the DHCPserver has to reply with all options (special option-82) on DHCPINFORM - ACK ?

This snif is from an Debian 3.0.7 box. It seems that the DHCPserver is dropping the option-82 information. Is this right or a "feature / bug" :-)

Hope to get some info.
