Yes it would, in that clients will have to renew their lease earlier 
- and hence give the DHCP server another chance to do the DNS update. 
On the other hand, shorter lease times come with their own issues, in 
particular the fact that clients will lose networking capability 
sooner in the event of a DHCP outage.

So there isn't a simple answer !
