Persistent connection

Is that persistent connection solution easy to implement. As I am not a c++ programmer I can't do this ;). I tryed the version 3.0.5, 3.0.6, and 3.1.0 with all the same results, the memory usage goes up and he dont free it.

So if you are willing to share your persistent conenction workaround I would really appreciate it :)
