Those would have been my guesses also, but I'm unable to resolve wadsworth.org.wadsworth.org which I'd expect to be the result of a missing dot.

I'm including the head of the file, it is longer than we really need.

Also including the last few lines of the server log file, SOA serial matches the zone file.
