$GENERATE and MX records

We just started to convert to $GENERATE as well (makes our conversion to BT/INS appliances easier ... or possible ...).
AFAIK, $GENERATE can only do certain record types and I don't think MX is one. A and PTR, yes, but only a few others.

Wildcard records are only visible if there is no other data at that
label. You will need two generate statements.
