I am getting nuts there .... as you say yourself, were are turning round
and round...
In /etc/bind/named.conf I have statements :
//NAMED.CONF
include "/etc/bind/named.conf.local";
zone "cardiffusion.com" { type master; file "/etc/bind/cardiffusion.com.db";
};
zone "cardiffusion.fr" { type master; file "/etc/bind/cardiffusion.fr.db";
};
zone "cardiffusion.eu" { type master; file "/etc/bind/cardiffusion.eu.db";
};
zone "cardiffusion.net" { type master; file "/etc/bind/cardiffusion.net.db";
};
zone "cardiffusion.org" { type master; file "/etc/bind/cardiffusion.org.db";
};
zone "cardiffusion.be" { type master; file "/etc/bind/cardiffusion.be.db";
};
Physical zone files are in /etc/bind/
They have owner root group root chmod 644
I restart bind server after each modification : /etc/init.d/bind restart
Where do I go on from here ???
I am totally lost with this

Well, the name server loaded only local zones no cardiffusion.fr or
cardiffusion.com.
So, it it not a surprise that it replies non-authoritatively.
Which means that the zone directives were not in named.conf. Either
you sent here the wrong files or the name server looks for them in a
different place from the one you expect (on Debian, by default,
/etc/bind/named.conf).

Makes sense (see above).
