How BIND could:
* Know what protocol to test? www.site.com is probably for HTTP but
mail.site.com ? POP ? IMAP ?
* Embed all these protocols? HTTP, HTTPS, POP, IMAP, BitTorrent, DNS,
whois, FTP, SSH, SMTP...
