Does that change if you build named with a larger FD_SETSIZE?
$ STD_CDEFINES="-DFD_SETSIZE=4096" ./configure
BTW, ISC_SOCKET_FDSETSIZE have any effect on Solaris. What you need
to tune is FD_SETSIZE.
