Something is definitely hosed...the whois database shows something different

Yet this is what root is handing out:
a.gtld-servers.net [192.5.6.30] dna.melbourneit.com.au.
enterprise.melbourneit.com.au. ns1.melbourneit.com.au. ns1.mitparked.com.
ns1.uq.edu.au. ns2.melbourneit.com.au. ns2.mitparked.com. ns2.uq.edu.au.
ns3.uq.edu.au.
The mitparked.com servers are behaving like Mark says they should...the
other ones have different responses...uq.edu.au is refusing queries, the
other melbournce IT DNS servers are referring back to root.
