Sending only a part of the reply does not help. Send the complete
response (the IP address of the name server which answered is at the
end of the response and it is a very important information).

Also, do look the log file of the nameserver. 95 % of the questions on
this list have a solution in the log file (/var/log/daemon.log on
Debian).
