how to stop in 9.2.5 logging update denied msgs?

I agree. 9.2.x doesn't have "update-security". I do have "update { null; }; 
in my logging section but it doesn't help at all. It stops dynamic updates, 
but approval and denial of update requests still showing in the log file.
