rndc like conf file in combination with dig.

Hi all

We had a question during one of our DNSSEC courses where we explain 
people how to use dig with the -y or the -k flag to troubleshoot  TSIG  
setups.

As far as I understand dig will not use an "rndc.conf" to figure out 
which key to use with which server so keys are "picked" transperantly. 
Am I correct in this? If so this is a feature request.
