Micro$oft wants this solution because this one preclude any use of other 
software than theirs. That is the only thing they have in mind when they 
deprecated other solution.

The 3rd solution is not very elegant and is not really state of the art.

Your solution is good. I've used it not with so much users as you have, 
but significantly enough to test it.
