Well, it's only important if one's DNS implementation actually supports
*both* kinds of "aliases", and -- need I say it? -- this is a BIND list
and BIND does not explicitly support what you call "server-side"
aliasing. Despite your protestations to the contrary, wildcarding is not
*explicitly* aliasing, and neither is the old
"load-multiple-zones-from-the-same-zonefile" hack.
