So the nslookup looks like this:

Non-authoritative answer:
adlibaudio.co.uk MX preference = 10, mail exchanger =
autoturn.plus.net.uk
adlibaudio.co.uk MX preference = 20, mail exchanger =
mx.last.plus.net
adlibaudio.co.uk MX preference = 5, mail exchanger =
mail.adlibaudio.co.uk

autoturn.plus.net.uk internet address = 212.159.3.9
mx.last.plus.net internet address = 212.159.3.230
mail.adlibaudio.co.uk internet address = 212.159.73.161

...and if I telnet to port 25 on mail.adlibaudio.co.uk, I get nothing:

bash-2.05b# telnet mail.adlibaudio.co.uk 25
Trying 212.159.73.161...
Connected to mail.adlibaudio.co.uk.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
bash-2.05b#

So their mailserver is just disconnecting before the 220 greeting, and your
mail server should try to send to the next mailserver at priority 10.
