[named] error sending response: host unreachable

All it means is that the client closed the socket before the response could be
delivered. There's nothing Windows-specific about the error, besides the fact that
Windows boxes tend to have more shoddy TCP/IP stacks than other kinds of boxes. If
the errors bother you, then track down the clients and see what TCP/IP stacks they
are running, including versions and patchlevels. Maybe there is some sort of
bugfix for the behavior.
