In the Network setup of the Windows box, in the "Advanced TCP/IP Settings
window, go to the DNS tab. There is a box there for setting search lists.
Add the domain names that you want in there. If you hadn't set a domain
name for the Windows machine, it wouldn't have worked anyway.
This has nothing to do with BIND. It's a Windows thing.
