TTL on LAN?

DNS record TTL values and DHCP lease-time values should have nothing to
do with each other. Internally, we have lots of Win2K clients and most
of our DNS records have a TTL of one hour. I've never seen the behavior
you describe.
On the other hand, we don't have Win2K client registration turned on.
Maybe there's a bug in Microsoft's implementation of that feature
(surprise! shock!).
