Speaking to Vicki off list, she needed the "forward only;" entry
(I've been using BIND 9 too long).

Which makes me think you could be right on this one. I suggested
she check /usr/local/sbin, presumably S72inetsvc points to the
wrong named version, as the one running on reboot didn't work.
