BIND tells you in the message itself, it is 'client'.

Subject: sending one particular query "null";

I currently have bind 9.1.3 on a sun workstation running Solaris 7. Right
now
most of my bind log messages are trapped by "default" and go to the file I
have defined. I would like to send lines of the form

Oct 05 15:05:40.101 client: error: client 164.74.14.180#3119: message class
could not be determined
                    ^^^^^^

to "null";, but I am not sure what category that message would be in. (btw,
that IP is a machine of a manager who checks the health of the DNS server
periodically.)

If someone can suggest what category, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
