The problem with openbsd is that they ship with a heavily modified version
of BIND 4 that is hard to scrape out of the system. FreeBSD ships with BIND
8 in the base, and it's easier to install a newer version from the ports
and not use the built in one.
All of this is, of course, a matter of opinion.
