	It completely violates the DNS protocol by ignoring the TTLs that 
are specified by the owners of those records.  If you've 
intentionally specified a low TTL for a particular record (e.g., 
you're planning on moving a machine in the near future and you don't 
want the old address to be cached for long by anyone), then you're 
completely screwed with regards to all those damn stupid Sun machines 
out there running nscd.

	I repeat my previous sentiment on this matter -- it is one of the 
worst abominations ever perpetrated upon the Internet, and it should 
be expunged from history.  Moreover, I think I'd like to find out who 
wrote the damn bloody friggin' thing and completely expunge from 
history them, all their ancestors, and their descendents.  Then I 
might start on all their co-workers....
