Bind8.2.3 stopping on NT4/Win2000

         Upgrade to the latest version of BIND 8.2.3 for NT (NT3).  Also check your
master for zone errors.  You probably have a CNAME in the root of the domain.
The upgrade has a number of fixes that may help this situation.  It will certainly
give you more information than "Unknown error".  The latest kit is available from
ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind/contrib/ntbind-8.2.3/Bind8.2.3-NT3.zip
