why bind 9.1.2 spawn 4 named childs ?

Hi !

you know why bind 9.1.2 spawn 4 named childs ?
recently i was upgrade my bind version 8.2.2-P5 
to 9.1.2.
in the 8.2.2-P5 version when i run ps -ef i only see
only one named, now with bind 9.1.2 i see 5 named.

which is the reason for this 4 extra named child ?
